崂山 Mount Lao and the river 九水

The postcard shows  崂山 Mount Lao and the words at the bottom mention the the river 九水 but I don’t see much of the latter.  The river 九水 starts at the highest peak of 崂山 Mount Lao and winds around the hills nine times, hence the name.
 
The river 九水 is a most elegant water body, especially when the current slows down from its rapid rush down Mount Laoshan and forms scenic pools.

崂山 Mount Lao and the river 九水 often referred to as 北九水 are in Shandong Province 山东省.  This postcard has received some rough handling.  Feb 2014
